Just wondering if anyone knows when the 08's will come in? And I heard a rumor that the engines will be different. A 3.5 for the V6 and something around a 5.0 for the gt. Just what some people have said. And im guessing if the 08s arrive sometime soon they will be taking bottom dollar on the 07 gts. Not sure though. lol just getting sick of driving my neon and truck and want to get rid of them both for a new mustang.

Probably around Summer/fall for the new 08s. Nothing has been confirmed but their may be a Bullitt version for 08. 09 will probably be the face lift year where there will probably be a Boss or Mach 1 version.

Thanks for the info Menace. That sounds about right. I test drove the 07 gt and it was quick but, I hope they add just a touch more power for the 08s. With all these possible new versions of the 08 and 09 stangs I wonder if therewill be a substantial price increase over what the 07's are.

ford better start upping the power to compete with others. Hell even the hemi wagon comes with 345bhp.

Yeah after the shutdown in July they re-tool the line for any changes to the car if any. I have not heard about the motor changing though

You can order an 08 in April, orders for 07 stop end of March. Production of 08's will start begining of June, First ones arriving at dealers begining of August. Only problem is that the dealers don't have the complete details of 08 model year in April. (options etc) When I ordered my 07 last April we used the 06 option list. Didn't matter on my order as I only wanted 3 options. So if your looking for a special package, Bullitt etc, you'll have to wait till May or so. I'm sure if you set it up with the salesman he'll call you the day the option list comes in.

When I bought my '07 back in Dec. I asked the salesmen if there was a price difference between the '06 & '07. He said there was none. At the time I was thinking I could buy an end of the year '06 model and save some $ but when he told me that I said, heck, I'll get the newer one. Plus at the time Ford was offering the $1000 rebate on '07 Mustangs.

Well the best thing about going with an end of year special is the fact that you know ford is going to offer there special rates again....

Thats why I bought my mustang when I did... I didnt intend to buy till this year but the 0%apr enticed me to do it sooner.

I have heard a 3.5L V6 pushing 265hp and the new Hurricane 5.0L V8 as an option on the GT. I'm not sure, but I have heard the possibility of Bullitt or Boss options for mid to late 2008 models. I haven't heard anything as far as new or removed colors or interiors.

Yeah I do remember them offering the 0% apr but I was paying in cash, so the $1000 off rebate sounded good to me.
