Annoying Blinker Noise

RE: Annoying Blinker Noise
I am not sure what the hell is up with people lately and their picky @ss qualms. How about you roll down your window and use hand and arm signals as you turn. Or better yet - turn your d@mn radio up and stop worrying about little noises........ geeesh people. LOL

Well. Here is a story for you guys. I took this girl out for a first date. So we are driving to dinner and I put on the turn signal and she starts laughing histerical. I say, what? She said, the turn signal, it sounds so funny like a toy car or something. Ok, all fine and good. But she did this every time I made a turn the entire night. Both times I took her out mind you.
I never realized a blinker could be so funny.

The turn signal sound was one of the first things I noticed when I drove my Mustang. It soundsEXACTLY the same as my '72 Gran Torino did - I think it's perfect. I heard that it's a digital recording of the sound of a mechanical blinker, but who knows. My wife hates it, but I've always wondered where they found my old Torino to make the recording.

most new cars have that same blinker sound. My 06 Cobalt SS/SC sounded just like it.. and yeah it does sound like a recording comming out of speakers or something instead of just hearing relay clicking sounds.

I like the blinker noise, sounds like they did on older cars.
And at least you can hear it. On my '04 F-150 sometimes the blinker stays on when making slight turns, and there is no sound, so its easier to drive around with it on and not know it.
