I don't know how you shift a manual any faster than my auto once the tranny has been tuned. Matter of fact I would say there is no way as it shifts fast and hard while the RPM's keep climbing. It is all about the tune and the shift points that are set up in it.

Right after writing a long informative post that was both well thought out,and very detailedI realized it would be wasted on you man...Rather than sling ****, just go and rent one with the auto. Or find a bonestock auto hardtop. Come to adead stop. TCS off. Then mash the loud pedal. Not even a mouse fart, you'll see. Try it and then call me an inept driving, moronic liar...I think you'll be unpleasantly surprised...I never said it wouldn't brakestand. When I powerbraked it and let off, it ripped 'em right through first and into second before realizing it couldn't deal with that muchgear and hooked up quick. NO...no it's not. It's not possible to LAUNCH an auto-trannied car with the same vigor as a manual. It just isn't. Drop the clutch and feather the gas, that's what wins street races, most are won and lost out of the hole. I'm sorry but automatics are for grannies in grocery getters not men in musclecars...
