Default New Wheels on 07 GT

Yesterday I had installed my new wheels / tireson my 2007 GT. Thought I would share some pics.

The wheels are American Racing "Casino" in size 18 x 8. They are the "Diamond Cut Finish" which is also clear coated. I did not want to do chrome, and silver painted was a bit too dull for my likes. These fit the bill perfectly.

The tires are Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S in size P255 / 45 / R18.Pirelli recommends a rim width of8to 10 inches for these tires. These tires also have very close to the same height ofsidewalland overall diameter as theOEM P235's.

I was a bit nervous going from the P235 to the P255 on an 18 x 8 wheel, but it turned out just as I was hoping. On these 18 x 8's it makes the tire have a slight sidewall bulge which will help protect the rim from curb rash.

I am almost done with my mods....CAI and tuner should FINALLY be here today and maybe a new radio H/U in the near future.

Looks nice. Are those the GT 500 mud flaps? Do they work?

Regular GT molded ones. They do a wonderful job of keeping the northwoods crap off the rear lower quarters!

I found out the GT 500 ones only fit exactly on the Cali Special packages as they have the same wrap around valence to the lower quarter as the GT500. If you put them on a GT they do not line up very well.

I think you see why I call these my Yosemite Sam Mud Flaps in my sig

I dig 'em. Very classy.

If you don't install some ceramic brakes pads, you'll build up your forearms keep them clean, though!
