That thing under the rear bumper is called an exhaust tip.
The burned gases from combustion come out there. Do
not look at it too close with the engine running or you
could die from Carbon Monoxide poisioning.

Seriously speaking, those 2 things are the horns and they are a bit ugly. I am planning on relocating them eventually.

Do like I did and get some Fox body horns and put them
on one of the bumper bolts that stick out from the rear
of the bumper. Crawl under there and you will see them.
I still have my stock horns and I can now be heard twice
as far away. They kind ofwarble now like two insturments
just slightly out of tune. Its different and really gets those
idiots attention. I would add more but dont think the horn
relay or wiring would support 6 horns.
