Default Moleskins

Hey guys, just ordered a set of moleskins, hopefully it will be here by the weekend for install.
Has anyone heard anything negative about them? any experience installing them, etc?
I have already read a write-up by TacoBill, seems like it might take a few hours.
Basically, is it worth the 35 bucks (shipped)?
PS- i have not tinted my car yet, i will install these, and then get my tints done.

install took me maybe 30 minutes for both sides. it works great. My tints were scratched without it in about 3 weeks. I had the place re-tint my car, then i installed the moleskin. Its been about 5 weeks now and zero scratches.

I'm ignorant, I thot those were what you use when you get blisters when you're hiking!!!! And you're talking about puting them on tinted windows.. . Maybe I should look into those since I'd like a tint later this year. . . Could somebody post a link or something showing me what those are?? Much obliged!!!

Moleskin is better than felt, but I installed felt anyway about 4 months ago..no issuesm since, so I would imagine you'll have no issues with the skin. It took me about 90 mins to do the whole thing...

Awesome. Although it's interesting that the factory seals scratch the tint. Wouldn't Ford have figured out by now that people are going to tint the windows and therefore they should make the seals out of a non-scratching material????? It's not like it's the first time people have tinted their windows for ****'s sake!!!! Jeesh!

I saw that post about these a while back, but didn't pay much attention to it. Now that my tint is scratched I realize the importance of them and have to pay again to retint.

I installed them about 3 months ago and have had no scratches. I put them on when I replaced the scratched tint that was on the car. The new tint is perfect now.
