8-ball shifter - yay or nay?

I just got one of these from Roush performance. $30.00

it comes with a metal spacer to move the shift boot down a little bit so you're not grabbing it when you shift. It's not too big and I think it looks way cool with the retro interior. I just wish it didn't have the roush written on the sides. Makes it look a little gaudy IMHO.

Hmm, wouldn't that be a tad huge?? Seems to me like it would be too big if they really are regulation billiard ball size....
Also, i say tacky.... personal pref though...just not for me...

Anyone know if they make a black Hurst ****.... Not sure if I like the White one either....if not will any of the various aftermarket shifters work with the Hurst?
