Default S197 & Stripes

why is it that S197's have the highest percentage of cars with stripes?

yes the S197 looks great with lemans stripes or Boss stripes.
The SN-95 looks kind wierd with stripes.

Why do people put on stripe jobs like that which appear unfinished? Did they run out of vinyl?
LeMans stripes look really goofy when they dont go down the back of the car or all the way down the front. it is easier to do that with painted stripes but a good vinyl stripe job should go all the way too.
They also look bizarre when people put 6 inch gap between them. That makes them appear like rally stripes on the old Camaros.
They should be spaced closer together (1-3 inches) and run the whole length of the car.

I agree, stripes only look good on some cars. I am in the middle of getting my done. My father own a store that deals with vinyl. He is 500miles away from me but he just sent me a huge thing of samples colors. I want like a gun metal, and i got close. He is now cutting them out and I will be applying them in the comming days.
