I also agree with the initial post. I do have to say, it has a lot more ponies then my 03 GT. I stopped at a dealer to take a closer look at one and the interior was a bit nicer but the exterior was very Blah. And as I was leaving a new GT was parking and my hubby pointed out how quiet it was. Not a good thing for a muscle car.

i finally saw my first 05 on the road today. i was not impressed with the way it looked at all. it looked pretty decent from the side. the front wasn't too great. needs a hoodscoop or something. the back definately leaves something to be desired. not saying it's really bad or anything, but i definately prefer the 99-04 models.

It must been a V-6. The Gt sounds just like any other year factory exhaust GT maybe just a little lowder.
Now , the haters, we respect your opinion and that's why this nation is so great, if you don't like one model car you can always get something else. I don't like the '94 to '04 models. The wife wanted one in 1994 and I got her one. I couldn't get used to the looks and today still don't like it. We had the car for 6 months and I traded it in for a 1992 LX 5.0 convertible. Now the'05 is awsome and by judging from the stares, thumbs up, and neck cracking movements I see every day when I'm driving my '05 I think the haters are a minority. Ford finally did something right with the Mustang and I'm talking compared to all model years since 1970 not including the specialty cars such as Cobras.

from the front they look good, the mirrors are horrible. the interior is cheap looking. porno red got to go. 17s are way to small for this car. the car just drufs the wheels. needs to be dropped alteast a 1'. the tail lights are just to large need to be alittle smaller. sides of car look good. i like the way ford designed the exhaust. i dont like how you need to tune the damm ecu every time you get a mod. the price got to go

Unless you have a saleen, or a kit on it that looks good, The 98 looks weak. Looks like a chearleaders car instead of a muscle car. No pun intended to all that own them because the power is there, just dont like the stock look. Also the interior between 98 and 99 is small to none.

It will stop. Its only cause there are few on the road. In a years time the streats will be crawling with them and you will have to trick it out to keep the rubernecking going.

at first i hated the 2005s, but they arent as bad as i thought. i actually saw a sonic blue one as the showcase car at my local dealership, looks 50x betters than the black and red ones that i keep seeing in pictures, and especially the lime green[:'(]. but i may be a little biased

I dont hate them, i love them. I just like the looks of the 99-04 better. I just was making a coment that the only real reason people are going wow, is because its new. once they see them all over the place, the normal person (not your mustang fanatics) wont be all wowed with it anymore. It goes for all new cars. Look at the 350 z, it started off like wow and now its common to see at least 10 a day. it falls into the norm. But I love the 05 and ford did awsome.
