Default Couple of questions..

I read on here a few days ago about a mid muffler system for the S197, not the Pypes one coming out. Somebody did a home brewed system from Summit Racing, they had a parts listing with parts numbers. I can't find this anywhere now. Any help would be great.

next question has to do with with loading tunes. In the SCT instructions it tells you to remove the Fuel Pump and cooling fan fuses. I did do this before I loaded my tune but was wondering if it was necessary.

Default RE: Couple of questions..

I posted a thread about a custom exhaust kit that I am working on. I am putting it together myself, but i'm not using anything from summit. I am using the pypes race pro M80's. My headers should be in today, mufflers tomorrow, install to take place monday. The axle back is already done. I imagine that the magnaflow's that were mentioned in that thread will be similar to these pypes mufflers.

Thanks for the response, Hutch. They weren't Magnaflows, I believe they were Dynomax mufflers. I could probably figure out the mufflers on their site, I'm more worried about getting the correct length tip. I guess I could crawl under and measure, figured that work was done by someone else nice enough to post the details, why do it again?

No need to pull fuses on the 05+ Mustangs.

The tips i used are 3"x15" slash cut rolled tips. I might go with a 3.5"x15. I just got so used to the 4" tips that were on the violators that the 3's look small now.
