Default alignment after switching 18s for 20s?

So will I need a front end alignment after I switch from 18s to 20s?

Typically, NO.

But if you changed the outside diameter of your tires (which is not common), then you should get an alignment.

Ah, you mean if my total diameter goes from 27" to 28.5" or something like that? Like if I switched from a fat sidewall to a low profile but kept the same wheel diameter? Thanks Al.

thanks man. . . did you remove the stupid retaining clips when you switched? i finally did and the shimmy is lessened in the front at 80mph. but it's not totally gone and it has an ever so slight pull to the left. damn. i really wish i could just do the alignment myself.
