My average MPG readout says 23.5mpg right now. I've been pretty easy on it since gas prices are up, lol. I still get on it, just not as much as usual.

Default 20 on my GT

I have a completely stock GT, and get between 20 & 21 MPG driving to work and back. My drive is about half and half freeway at 70 MPH and bumper to bumper stop and go. On a trip from Austin back to Dallas recently, I got 27.7 MPG at 70-80 MPH until I hit some stop and go traffic. The whole trip I averaged 25.5 MPG. And I do punch it some - I do like to get ahead of the pack at stoplights.

The best I have done was 21 mpg CITY for almost half a tank of gas. But man was that boring...

Right now I am averaging I think 12-13. So much fun though

Averaging between 24-27 with my '07 GT. All highway miles, 3.55 gears and manual 5 speed. Cruise set 75-80. Roads here are flat, no traffic. Half a mile from my house to the highway. Less than half a mile from highway to work. I've seen 29 mpg on a 100 mile trip with a strong tailwind.

for the 4.0, running 87 octane, ac, city/highway, my
guess would be, it's in the ball park for being normal.
-
with the gt's.... cai + tune + higher octane generally = ~ +2mpg highway

I average 19 MPG combined city/highway, with AC on most of the time. It's a 4.0L V6.

My car has about 3500 mile, so it should be broken in by now.

Is 19 MPG normal? What about yours? (both V6 and V8)
