Default RE: OIL SEPERATOR

ORIGINAL: torch red

How much Is this Mod worth it..

Please express all opionions ..i am very interested..

Seems like some good cheap insurance..
I don't know if its worth it, but if you go with an AMW catch can, it ain't cheap. (Like $160!!!)

I haven't seen any threads about any oil ingestion on the 4.6 or the v6 motors, so I guess it might be ok if you went the cheaper route.

(I know with my '00 C5 Vette which had an "early" LS1, it was really a requirement....countless threads on the subject, and the can was really a must have, they are notorious for sucking in alot of oil, crappy PCV system, not the LS6's though).....Anyway, thats why it seems if you go with a cheaper setup, it sure can't hurt, but I wouldn't be too worried about it since I haven't seen (or heard ) any S197 oil ingestion issues.....

Nice installation Red, so I hate to be the one to tell you this but, it looks like those hoses are routed incorrectly. Either that or the installation instructions are wrong.
