Just reading the review I'm wondering why you would ever want it? Doesn't seem like it's all that good?

I just put one in my wife Expedition, and unless you add a changer, dont do it. All the discs work off the same slot, meaning you cant listen or watch a dvd and switch to navigation. Also the screens are a little cheesy (low rent). I decided on the Eclipse 6610 for about 400 more, and was the best call I ever made!!My buddy who is a custom installer always suggests Pioneer, but after putting in my wife's, he called me and said he knew right away I would hate it. Hope this helps

just wondering why the screen is cheep, is it cause the size or overall quality. also the only reason it rates low is because of the single dvd drive but in my case that not a problem. just curious if there any other features on the eclipse that are better thanks a lot
also wondering where u got your eclipse for around 1200 just because everywhere i look they want 1700. i can get the avic d3 for 770.00 which is a whole differant level from 1700

I was looking at a full nav in dash system, then I tried outa Garmin, it works out great for us.

Stay away from the D3, if you can find one get a D2 it's got 2 drives. if you want the best Get the Avic-Z2 this is an awsome unit... but pricy, 2200 MSRP
