Default Warranty Work Question

Tomorrow I will pick upmy 05 GT from the dealership service department for some warranty work (failed A/C compressor and faulty fuel pump). This will be the first time in a few years that I've had to have Ford warranty work, and my neighbor says that Ford charges a $100 deductible on all warranty work now. Is this true?

All warranty is free. But if you don't have a warranty it cost 100 bux or so just for them to check your computer codes...Thats how it is by me. It's a joke. Love my SCT.

Ford will only charge you 100 dollars if you have a diesel engine and it's out of base 3/36 coverage. After that you will fall under the engine coverage of 5/100. But again this is only for diesel engines.

Thanks to all who have replied, but PERTANO has identified what my neighbor is talking about. Neighbor has a big farm truck with diesel engine that's had to go back to Ford a couple of times for work. That's why he's having to pay the $100 deductible.
