Hurst shifter any regrets?

Hurst shifter any regrets?
I've seen on some posts that B&M has bought out Hurst. Before the inventory depletes I'd like to get a Hurst shifter. I love the retro look it gives the car plus any shifting improvements would be a plus. I had a Honda S2000 nailed until I missed 3rd gear, then I just let off ...like maybe next time dude, when in reality I struggled to find 3rd gear. I know it's a little notchy from previous posts, but how's the 2nd to 3rd shifts. The stock shifter sux A$$ bigtime. I'd also like to swap out the white ball for a T-handle, only because I grip the shifter like I'm strangling a snake. I guess what I'm asking is...is the Hurst shifter any good?

I think the hurst inventory has been depleted, from what I hear they are redesigning it. It definately has the looks of a great shifter, but it's the stock shifter with a shorter throw. I'm highly satisfied with my Steeda Tri-ax (Originally wanted a hurst but they were sold out.) I've no problem finding any of the gears.

ORIGINAL: Goldenpony
The hot new player in the shifter game is the new MGW shifter. It was just released and from everything I read about it, it is in a league all it's own. Mine is on order.

Three bolts per side. Have to jack the motor up a bit the get the stock mounts out. I pulled the engine side brackets off too since I was installing Longtubes at the same time and it gives more room to work on the headers.
