I say, if you want to save $$, don't want to race, want to save $$ on gas (which keeps going up almost everyday) as well as insurance,then go with a V6.
I had a GT, sure sometimes I miss the power, but right now I am content with my V6.

As far as interior difference between a V6 and GT, I believe they are identical.

Yes, interior is the same. It just depends on what upgrades you get.

I say go with the GT, the premiumu pay now on the sticker price will pay off in the long run when you sell the car, especially when considering the scoops/bumpers, and paint you are going to pay for. Buy the GT, keep it stock, and have one of the nicest cars on the road. thats my $0.02. BTW, I have owned a V6 mustang which i adored, butI regretted it every time i saw a GT.

get the solara. If it is not a slamdunk easy decision in your mind between a toyota and a mustang, then just get yourself the toyota and stick with the masses and their reliable econoboxes.

If they offered their V6 in a stick, it'd be tempting. Can't really say which I'm gonna go for though, until I drive em. As it is, with the amount of mods available for stangs... I'm leaning towards a muscle car..

i own a 06 vs, and in my opinion you should really get the gt, everytime i see a gt, i regret making my decision. If you want to get the v6 to convert into a look a like gt its really not worth it. just to change the bumpers, its going to run you 500 if you know where to look. exhaust another 400-500, side skirts 75, and in the end you wont have the power that the gt has. youll look like one but thats it. not sure if you were looking into a new car or used, but youre better off purchasing a used gt, ive actually seen some around the low 20s

Why dont you just go to your Ford dealer and test drive both, then you'll know better.

Gas is virtually the same. Maybe the V6 gets 1 maybe 2 Mph more. And i pay $30 more a month for my GT than i did with my V6. SO dont let those 2 be a factor.
