My Z is a 2000 manual trans with the following parts added: Iceman intake, Hotshot 4-2-1 header with 2.25" exhaust and straight-thru muffler (no coffee can or high pitched whine here), under drive pulley, MSD coil and wires, Esslinger cams with adjustable cam gears, Ford Racing PCM with Superchip, Tokico struts with Progress springs to lower it close to 2" all the way around and give way better ride and performance, 16" Motegi MR7 rims with low profile tires, rear sway bar off Escort Wagon to prevent body lean and front strut bar, Pacesetter short shifter, white gagues, bored throttle body going on soon, and a few other things I may have forgot. The guys that test drove it to give me a price for a trade in told me it felt as quick as the V6's and I should keep it because it was different. I really have a hard time thinking about parting with it, but I have a feeling getting in my new Mustang every day may make it easier.

Damn, sounds like you made that into a really nice ride.

I actually almost bought a red one, because my dad said I had to get something in the 6-8k range and would allow cheap insurance. I saw my black 00 stang, and had to beg to get it, but I liked the ZX2 as well.

This is my first post on here and I am wondering if anyone has 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on a V6? I am close to pulling the trigger on one. I don't need to race, but I just love the new style, and want to be able to go when I need to. Also, if anyone is interested, I have a highly modified 2000 ZX2 I am trying to sell. This has been my baby for years, but I can't say no to the new stang. Thanks for any help.
u got any pics??? dunno if im really interested but i jus curious

As soon as I get some miles on it and shes broke in ill try to get some times..I do know the DAMN governer is 115 and if i recall it was at 4K so I still have 2k to go...Maybe the switch chip can get another 20 out of it...The car is so light it was starting to float but i had a ****ty crosswind. It may not be a GT but you should see the looks from people. Never thought Id use a car to meet chicks, but hey if it works...use it.
