I would go to a local exhaust shop and see if they can just weld extensions in to make up for the 8 inches that are missing.

Weld is a no no, most exhaust shops can't weld for crap. A good weld that wont interrupt flow will cost me the same as the new pipes.

The shop I went to wanted $80 just to weld in a section of pipe that is only 22 inches long. (Removing the resonators, and welding the new pipe in its place.) I'll let you know how my new pipes are from RPMoutlet. This is like my 3rd or 4th time trying to order from them. Each time I would try and order from their site and my order would never go through. (Back when it was only $99!) and now they bumped it up... but atlast... the order went through.

Should be here tuesday.
