Default Verts w/CAI tunes..convince me to do it!

Ok, been lurking her ever since I got my 06 vert w/ manual tranny and I haven't seen any posts addressing this. I am still on fence for the CAI/Tune. I am wanting bang/grin factorfor the buck. I'm not racing, not stoplight dragging, (welllll not usually)etc. I commute on S. FL turnpike 60 miles a day and I get my grins from when I can mash the throttle and the car takes off.

On the vert, doe the tune/CAI make you grin and give you more "fun factor". I'm looking at SOTP here. I know I get more horses but is it gonna liven the car up?Does it make that much difference? Thanks for eveyone's help!C'mon...convince me to drop the $$!!!

look at my signature, I figured on doing just a set of 20's, and stop there... whoops[8D]dont forget the vert is only like 150lbs heavier, and all the stuff I saw has it identical performance wise. So there is NO reason not to!

I have a 2006 GT vert with the manual and went with a C & L CAI and Evo 91 tune. SOTP acceleration improvement is a thumbs up and the sound is awesome. As many have and will say....this mod is the best bang for your $.

I did a C&L intake and 93 Xtreme Evo tune on my 4.0L/auto vert (now belonging to Mrs28HopUp), and look what it did to my rear fender

So yeah, I would recommend a CAI and tune

What's up with the vert? We have the same engine.

Do it, man.

There is nothing like 3rd gear after a CAI and tune.......I love transition ramps......
