I have the Ford TripTunes Modulator. I ran the connection through the glove box. No interference and as far as I can tell the sound quality is just as good as a CD (3 months now and it meets and beats my expectations).I got it for$45 and it took me about 4 hours to install (learning curve).

That adapter's definitely worth it! I used to use a transmitter then found that and it was sooo much better. Get this along with it and you'll really be set. This is what I have with the FRD04:

I've got a deal called iSimple from Peripheral Electronics I bought from Best Buy a few months ago. Model was ISFD71. This provides a direct connection to the radio and allows for most iPod fucntions to be accessed from the radio buttons instead of looking at the iPod. Cost me $150.00. Hasn't failed me yet.

I used this as well! Heres the Link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1153337432303

I love mine! It hooks in through the AUX button via new wiring harness. All the controls are through the Shaker. I plug the iPod in, put it in the center console, and forget it. It charges the iPod as well.

Good luck
