Huh? What is a Boss 302 DOHC 4V engine? Because Ford certainly doesn't build one. Are you thinking of the Cammer5.0 DOHC 4V engine or theBoss 302blockthat Ford Racing is now offering? Because at this time FRPP is not offering a Boss 302 crate engine andwhen they finally do offer it, thatengine is a push rod motor (OHV) not a modular motor (OHC).

Nothsa, I think that's what I'm looking for. I'll have to do the cams if I really want to get much beyond where I'm at. . . and I'm not sure I want to open up the motor and risk the deadly "death of the warranty" despite the fact that I seriously doubt I'd ever have a problem with a Comp Cams install.

I forgot to add "and no nitrous" to the title. . . not that I'm fundamentally against any of these things, it's just the thought of spending all the money up front, rather than adding pieces as I have the money. Now, if I could finance a supercharger or turbo, I'd probably jump on it [like a fat kid on cake, and I can say that cause I WAS a fat kid!].

Chiming in a little late here, but i'm at 346rwhp with the following:

-Stage 3 CompCams w/ springs&retainers
-ARH L/T Headers w/ catted x-pipe
-JLT CAI w/ SCT X-Cal & dynotune by VMP
-UDP's
-CMDP's

I do have a 100shot of nitrous, but haven't used it yet. I'll be over 400 w/ the nitrous. Also I have some suspension work done as well so I don't lose all traction.

A thing to consider if you are going to stay n/a would be to go with the bigger intake like a 95mm C&L racer. This was not available at the time when I purchased my CAI and with the bigger intake I would bump over 350. I didn't do a t/b just because of the problems that are so consistent with them.

What's t/b?? turbo? And have you seen/heard anything about this F.A.S.T intake that sounds too good to be true? Thanks!

2k05GT - what do you mean that 320 isn't possible? I have 319 now without any internals, TB, water pump, or DS... hell just a cam and good tune will get me to 350 or at least close to it...[8D]

Yes, t/b is a throttle body like stated above.

I've read about the F.A.S.T intake manifold and have lost almost all interest now with all the problems they've been having. Either way i'm guessing most of the gains would come from some cmcv's anyway and while the new manifold may help I don't think it will be anything much better than stock.

Ford already made our intake manifolds well and the delete plate solution takes care of the butterfly flaps that restrict some air flow.

I believe 350 is possible...

And i aim to do it...The biggest thing will be the Heads and Cams...Then CAI...probably will need a custome tune rather then a hand held...Larger Throtel Body and New Intakes and will be making there way out soon..
I am a N/A Guy...I hate power adders, though i know there great... If i can run 12.40 with no Power adder in my 90 GT with a base of 225 HP back then I could certainlty do it in my 06..if not better..

It will take me awile, as i just did the suspension...But be patient as more Heads,Cams ...ETC..come to the market
