Every so often I get the bump steer problem while braking.
I think I get the flat spotting too. Every so often, I will get in the car, drive it up to about 60-65 on the highway (which is less than a mile from my house) and get a strange shaking feeling. Then oddly enough, it goes away. I thought for a while it was me getting used to the shaking so it didnt bother me anymore. I guess thats whats happening... flat spotting, hmmm. Oh, btw I have 17's with stock rubber.

Exact same problem here. Taken it to get balanced over and over and it just doesnt go away. For some reason newly paved (very flat surfaces) makes it worse. Kinda driving me crazy cause it comes and goes. I do notice that if I brake when its shaking really bad it kinda goes away. I'm just going to blame it on my car being lowered and having 20" wheels....

06 VistaBlue, you hit it on the head. I did notice that the longer you drive it the less it exists like in just a few miles or so. Never thought about that.
