I am stock except for the Stingers that I installed on Sunday. I had chirped 3rd a couple of times before. Tuesday evening after dropping my daughter off at swim practice a 350Z was "playing" with me on my way home. Single lane street with many stop lights. I took off aggressive in first gear, but not letting the tires break loose, banged second gear @ 5k, nice chirp, and did it again in 3rd @ 5k with another chirp. He was right behind me. Did the same thing at the next light. When we did get a 2 lane street, we did play a little, but I backed off first as the street is not the place for this and it was getting too busy with other cars. I was not trying to chirp 3rd, it just happened when I shifted hard in high RPM's. Oh I have 18's and 3.55 gears. BTW those stingers sure do sound nice.

I take it with all this "chirping" you have the T/C off? I just got my mustang on Friday and its my first one. They were showing me how I could turn T/C on and off and explaining why. I still havnt turned it off

I could chirp third until i ditched the 235/55/17 Pirellis for the 255/45/18 BF Goodrich KDW2s
Even with a CAI/tune and x-pipe w/ hiflow cats I can't do it on these tires. They are great street rubber.
