I don't think I could when I was stock. But with my CAI and Tune I can.

stock, yes, but rarely, it took quite a bit of effort and just the right conditions.

It'll do it,......... takes some practice, and........ it's hard to describe the technique. BUT, I promise you it can be done.
The best I can tell you is,... it's more of a "stomp" down on the throttle, as youshift/and releaseto 3rd, not necessarily a "power shift" to 3rd.

What's the point? It's just shocking the drive-train and wearing things out before their time (lol).
BTW it was much easier to accomplish with the 17" Pirelli's on my '05, haven't been able to do it in the '06(with 18" BFGs), although I haven't tried in it. I guess I tried all the crazy things in my '05 before trading it in on the '06(sowing my wild oats, so to speak ). Now I drive like a grandma(oops, that's not very PC, huh?).......okay, like a girlie-man(ditto, guess I can't win [&:]). Yes, it takes all the stars to align to accomplish .

1+ same here but have not done it since nearly new. Did it without trying but took me by suprise as I did not expect it! This was with 20 inch rims as well and BFGoodrich KDW's tires in place. No real want to do that anyway and it was a cool fall afternoon when I did. J

I am stock except for the Stingers that I installed on Sunday. I had chirped 3rd a couple of times before. Tuesday evening after dropping my daughter off at swim practice a 350Z was "playing" with me on my way home. Single lane street with many stop lights. I took off aggressive in first gear, but not letting the tires break loose, banged second gear @ 5k, nice chirp, and did it again in 3rd @ 5k with another chirp. He was right behind me. Did the same thing at the next light. When we did get a 2 lane street, we did play a little, but I backed off first as the street is not the place for this and it was getting too busy with other cars. I was not trying to chirp 3rd, it just happened when I shifted hard in high RPM's. Oh I have 18's and 3.55 gears. BTW those stingers sure do sound nice. fd

I have an automatic and can do it consitantly. I'm also at 35 psi in the rear tires. The tune and CAI was the upgrade I needed in order to accomplish this feat!! Typically on ramps is where I punch it 1, 2, 3, so sweet!

i been able to do it too, and i got a V6. go figure huh, just depends on the way u drive.
