Well I started with the centerforce clutch and it was horrible. Now my shop has installed the Spec 3+ with flywheel, and they say it works great.

McCloud Twin Disk! It is amazing! Hold insane amounts of power and the clutch is only about 20% heavier then clutch. Smooth and hooks up like nothing else. really the only way to go for the new stangs!I believe that hennsey puts these on their 1000HP viper. My Flywheel is light weight aluminum.

ORIGINAL: Black05StangGT

Are you required to buy the flywheel with the spec clutch? I read somewhere that it was required and that didn't seem right, but I could be wrong...I am going to be getting one soon and wanted to make sure that was the case...
its not required from what I've read...but is suggested when doing the clutch

OK Crazy does not appear to be FI. I am and have the Fidanza Alum and twin disc set up. It seems to be a good set up and So far so good. Lethal will give you a good deal on any on you chose.

Well from everything I have read you have to get a new flywheel when you get a Spec clutch.

When the time comes I will either get a Spec Stage 2 with a steel flywheel or the McCloud clutch as it works with the stock flywheel and hold over 600hp.

I only want to put out in the 450-475rwhp max so I think the Spec Stage 3 is overkill.

Leaning toward the McCloud at the moment because why change the flywheel if you dont have to? (at my prefered powerlevel, 600+ hp guys excluded )
