Location must have a major impact. In Houston I really believe with a little work you can get $4K to $5K off without a problem. I did that in the middle of the model year last year. At the end of the model year I could have probably gotten another couple of grand off, easy.

Even if you were able to get A-plan, you would only take off about another $900 (total of about $3,400). There is no way you are getting $4-$5,000 off MSRP unless the rebates are HUGE...let alone $7K.
The reason I got such a smokin' deal on mine was there is a ton of markup on most dealer installed options, especially when it comes to labor intensive work (such as paint).
