Just bought an 05 GT and was wondering if I was able to put any mods on it. I see that I can get some mufflers and some pullys for it will that void the warranty?

depends on your dealer. you should probably ask them what would void it and what won't. most don't care about things like the exhaust and such.

Every dealers different, some will let you mod away others will try to void your tranny warranty for a CAI [:@]

Best thing to do is to call and ask. I doubt you'd have problems with mufflers but other mods... well if your worried about it I'd just mod away with stuff thats simple to remove - like pulleys, CAI, shifter, etc... stuff you can take off quickly if you need warranty work done.

dude you can do anything to your car and they CANT VOID ANYThing....................you need some eye popping info and i am here for you............................some thing called they "MAGNUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT" OK go here and you will see they CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY for putting after market parts on your car unless they can prove it did the damages
which is very hard for dealers to prove

i have a FORD FOCUS and i put on CAI on it...i was having a cold start problem and brought my car in to get fixed under warranty...my dumb *** SW said that they cant touch my car because of my CAI and it might be causeing the problem and i said nope dude...you have to look at my car because.....i stopped and told him to get the SW manager and I gave him a copy of MAGNUSON MOSS WARRANTY ACT and the SW was "ohhh i see your not a reg customer" so they looked at it and found out my car had a TSB for a cold cranking prob and they fixed it for free under warranty....so dont let those FAHQS at a dealership tell you other wise
