Default Aluminum shift **** on 07

Anyone have a close up pic of the aluminum shift **** that became available in the 07? I want a new shift know, but don't know where to find a good selection. The aluminum shift **** on the 07 looks pretty nice.

I got one from a store on Ebay. It is very cool but, will not fit on the Pro 5.0 shifter!!!. I checked and it does fit on the stock shifter though. I thought about just trying to geta second copy of the upper part of the stem that bolts in to the lower. I would then try to force the threads to get it on. I did not want to force the threads with the one in my car in case it gets F$%^&* up.

There's a pic of my interior on my photo album (unstrung's '07 Pony) where you can see my **** (yeah, I said it!). It's not a closeup, but it's something.

Depending on where you live, gotta be careful with that all aluminum shift ****. Here in Az it's already gotten almost too hot to touch during the day. I may try to look for an all leather one or something.

Just like forstfed said, you gotta watch out for tempurature extremes. I had to change the **** out for the stockone this winter. The **** got so cold it was uncomfortable to use.

I got mine at AmericanMuscle.com It does get a little hot in the summer, but it's not that bad. I like it.

I hate my metal shift ****. Its burning in summer and freezing in winter. This winter, I had to drive with a glove on one hand sometimes. My friends joke I should get a golf club cover! I've seriously considered putting a sock over it, but wtf.... that's too sad to go through with. I want a pure leather one, but Im afraid of messing up the wieght.

Where can I get a quality leather ****?
