darkpath--how do u think corsas would be with an off road X instead of H?? also ur set up but with long tube headers? how would that be?

The Corsas with an off-road x, I would imagine, would be really loud and raspy (not a bad thing if it's your taste). They're a bit raspy even with the h-pipe. I haven't heard any 05+ mustang GTs with long-tube headers first hand (only videos). I've heard 2 different things...LTs make the tone deeper and over-all sound a bit quieter...others say the LTs will make the sound louder and deeper.

As far as performance, you might get 1-2 hp more with the X-pipe than with the H. With the LTs, you'll definitely see a good hp increase (especially with the off-road mid-pipe) that you should be able to feel at WOT.

I wish I had a sound clip of LTs, off-road h-pipe, and corsas because eventually, this will be my setup.

I had the Flowmasters on my 2005 GT and absolutely LOVED them. They're loud w/ not much drone. Traded in the GT for a GT500 and unfortunately they won't work because they touch the lower rear diffuser (which I'd prefer not to melt!). Picked up some Corsa's and they sound great, although I prefer the unique sound of the Flowmasters.... Corsa's are surprisingly quiet at idle and non-aggressive driving - but loud when you mash the gas.... No drone what-so-ever....
