Default Those with Evolution CAI and tune

Hello All

I am ready to place my order for a JLT II and tune. I have seen a lot about the customer service with Brenspeed, those with an Evo CAI and tune what are your experiences with the service from Evolution? I have read many posts about CAI's but I believe it comes down to customer service. I have made purchases from Brenspeed in the past but want to cover all bases. Please post replies with your experiences with Evo. Thanks

I have Fred's tune (Evolution) and Brent's (Brenspeed) and the winner was Brent my a landslide.

I have the EVO tune. I've had zero problems with it, therefore, I've made no follow-up calls. I'm very happy with Evolution Performance.

I went with Evo's 91 tune and a C & L CAI because the price was better than most other vendors.I have had no problems and would rate Fred's customer service as very good. He answered all my questions and even personally called me in response to one of my email querys.

I went with Evolution and Ohhh Baby!! The 93 tune is awsome! Got to put the right gas in it though. The methanol at most pumps causes some diesaling between 3rd and 4th @ 4K+. I'm using Shell right now and it seems to be performing better.

Here's my customer service experience with Evo.

Drove there on the way up to Jersey. Fred was behind the counter.
He sold me the JLT w/SCT tuner, loaded it up from his PC, and since I'm from Viginia and he's in PA, didn't charge me any sales tax. Total cost $525.

While I was there heoffered me a good deal on a set of wheels and tires which I almost bought but couldn't quite pull the trigger on them.

I installed the CAI when I got home, loaded up the 93 octane extreme tune and it's been more than awesome ever since. No issues whatsoever. Now I just have to hook back up with him on my next trip upand schedule a dyno run. Gotta call about 2 weeks ahead of time as they book up pretty quickly.

I have had great experiences with both of them...unlike some others here who claimed Fred does not reply or answer email or phones etc etc...I can just say for me that has NEVER been an issue. I had both tunes and loved them both....

I have their combo, and I found both his tunes and customer service average.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I ordered my JLT II and an Evo tune yesterday. Fred called me back and clarified all the info. Intake and tuner was shipped later that day. Cant wait to install.
