Well i have read many of these storys lately and today i lived one out. I was coming out of my driveway when a gran am reved his motor at me. So i was behind him and we came to a light he got next to me and was flooring his car and i could hear the whine of the motor and he had all the gauges on his door trim. Not sure the year all look the same to me, ha ha. but the light turned green and he never had a chance. I pulled away and let off about 80 due to the 5 car lengths i had on him. He did though show respect and stayed off my a$$ and then gave me the thumbs up at the next light. either his tune sucks or his driving. but anyways another knotch on my belt.

I doubt his tune or his driving sucks, his car does. Why would you supercharge a Grand Am? You might get a whole 15 Hp out of it.

Are you sure it was a grand am and not a grand prix? Grand Prix's do have a supercharged version that happens to be fairly quick if built correctly.

Grand Am;s are not supercharged..unless it was after market which i highly doubt..

I just rented a Grand Prix GXP while I was in Chicago. It is a nice car but when you put the pedal to the medal from about 15 MPH, you had to hold tight onto the steering wheel. It wanted to go left and then right then left. I am not used to that at all and the reason why I hate front wheel drive cars. The engine didn't feel as strong as our either. They have 5.3L, 303HP LS4 engines. With all the weight in those boats, no wonder they put such a large engine in those just so they would help get you out of the way of others.
