Carfax can be very inaccurate!
I checked on the cars I'd previously owned and sold.
A Honda I'd owned that had been in 3 accidents and repaired showed no accidents, even though I'd gone through insurance.
Another car, my Mazda said there was a discrepancy with the mileage, when there was none!
It's best to learn how to go over a car to look for bondo, or excessive wear and tear.
