hey guys i got a 2005 v6 droptop with stock 16 inch wheels and tires and i'm saving my pennys for new
wheels and tires and was thinking of 18's or maybe 20's was wondering if anyone has pics of ther ride with
20inch wheels with 40 series tires and not lowered the reason is i'm trying to fill the gap between the tires and fenders without lowering my car thanks guys and gals

I can't help you out with the 40 series but mine are 255/35R20, I'm fine with the gap in the front for now, but can't hardly stand the gap on the rear.

Don't try to fill the gap with wheels, without lowering you car. The wheel will look too big then, I think you don't want to car rear to look like car with dragster wheels.
I have original suspension with 275/35-20 which is slightly bigger than original 235/55-17 tire, but wouldn't want to go much taller.
I admit that it would look better if I had 1" or 1.5" lowered but, let's see.
I thinkSaleens have 275/40-20, but that's about as far asI would go.

Front - wheel 20X8 Tire 245/35ZR20 95W
Rear - wheel 20X10.5 (cant remember offset) Tire 295/30ZR20 101W

Beestang... I just ran your diameter size and it is 6.41% larger than stock... did you upgrade brakes also?

I love your rims but, I think your tire sidewall height is too big on those 20's....

They worked fine for me, no rub and smoked 2 sets of shoes while they were on. In as far as what I did with them... I still have them and put them on my Explorer. I now have a total of 5 sets of wheels and tires for my ride. I get bored easily and switch them out off and on over the year. If you check out my gallery, you'll see a few of them; 20" Saleen chrome, 20" Black Rhino Burst (pictured above), 18" chrome bullits, 17" stock bullits, 18" Breyton Magics. I also have another set that hasn't been mounted and tried yet. They a chrome 18", not sure of the name. So I guess I now have 6 sets to exchange between all of my Fords. LOL
