UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS
 
I am planning on gettting a CAI and Tune and was wondering if it is worth it to get the underdrive pulleys (steeda)?

Yes, if you plane on racing it. If not, you probably wont see that much of a difference.

they are good for an gain of about 10 HP and a bit better MPG increase. less drag on the engine.
Do not install UDP if you plan on a Huge Audio System with Amps and stuff. also if you have the shaker 1000 system it might not be a good idea, other than that sure go for it, I love mine

The UDP slow down your alternator, A/C and power steeringby 25%, this drop of avalable charging would not affect a normal car under normal conditions like traffic jams or sitting idle listening to the radio. but you add a load like mutipleamps, this will excead the avalable charging capacity and you will kill the battery allot.

i just got the udps i havent gotten them installed yet? I have the shakr 500 but will it be harder to steer, turn or what not? another other issues with it??
