Great job on running 12s....i know i got 12s in my car also it's just getting her to hook up and those LCA's def. must've come in handy...with gears and a sticky tire you'll be well into the low-mid 12s...

Awesome....what was your launching procedure?

I went to the track today to see if the off-road h-pipe was enough to put me into the 12s (last time i hit 13.007). At the beginning, things looked grim because the track was really slick. After a full day of cars laying down rubber, the last hour was pretty good for everyone. The track started biting and I got 2 more runs in.
My 2nd to last run, i ran a 12.950 @ 104.84.
60' 1.945
1/8 8.308
1/8 mph 85.52
The last run of the night backed it up:
r/t .185
60' 1.961
1/8 8.336
1/8 mph 85.54
1/4 12.959
1/4 mph 105.44
I have a videoof the 12.950 but youtube hasn't processed it yet. I knew it had 12s in it and I think with better track conditions, 12.8s are possible. I'll never know with this setup as next month i'll be getting 4.10 gears and before fall i'll have some MT E/T Streets.
Edit: Added video at the bottom.

Timmay!!!
I'm not sure if i'll be working the weekend of FFW or not yet. If I get the weekend off, i'll probably come out for it. If you end up going, let me know and I'll try to get out there.

I still have the stock 3.31 gears.

Launching was tricky all day due to the conditions but what ended up working for me was the following:
1. drove around the water box
2. power-braked into a small spin to clean the tires and then let off the brakes to spin a bit more
3. on the line, power-braked until about 1500 rpm and then all throttle and no brake at the same time.
There was some spin but it wasn't too bad. I think power-braking off the line is better for the 60' than not power-braking even if you spin a bit more unless the spin is excessive. Earlier in the day I was not power-braking at all and getting 2.04 60'. Some of it could be due to more rubber being on the track
