Default need help with choosing a hood

i have to replace the hood on my 07 black mustang gt.. I am going to be adding a cobra front fascia also. Does anyone have any pictures of carbon fiber hoods installed? I am not looking for a real gaudy hood, I like designs to be clean and simple. My main goal is to achieve a better than stock hood for the same price or less.. I was considering carbon fiber b/c I think it would look good plus it would not have to be painted but I have yet to see any pictures of a carbon fiber hood installed on a mustang. Thanks to anyone that helps out with my decision.

I like the Saleen hood but I guess that's just me. I like it when it's simple i guess

All I can say with fiberglass hoods is "you get what you pay for" I bought plenty of cheaper ones and they fit like crap. And the underside sucks. Pay the couple extra hundred and get one good on both the under & top sides. And of course a good name brand.

Does anyone know if VIS or Seibon carbon fiber hoods are any good?

I'm a big fan of Cervini's '67GT500 hood for the S197 'Stangs. I know, it's fiberglass, but I've heard that Cervini's parts fit better than most O.E. pieces........plus Cervini's has a cool ram air kit for that hood, making it cool and functional.

I think the Steeda cowl hood is a natural for these cars, but it's $499.00

You can always go with the 3D carbon hood. I was thinking about carbon fiber too, but I've heard even with VIS or Seibon that the hoods eventually yellowed. Plus I like the reverse scoops.
