Decklid Lettering on an 05+
ok so i saw this on a car the other day and decided i had to have it, took a ride over to NPD and picked up the self adhesive lettings from a 65-72 mustang for less than 15 bucks. with letters spaces 5 inches apart it fits almost identical to how they are laid out on the classic stangs.
what do you guys think????

concept is cool but if im not mistaken those are off an older stang correct? i think they look too small and out of place perhaps a little bit larger and more modern would fit better.

After the whole "Shelby letters on a GT" post, I broke down and made my own letters that say "Mustang" for my hood. The ones available on the market were just too small. These letters could work on a decklid too if I made a flat "T" (mine has a curve to lay properly on the body line) Mine are a little under an inch tall...the ones you see here are made of baked clay, but will be cast in plastic and painted dark silver

suoperdave84- geeesh thats must have taken you a bit of time but good job there... post pics when you get done. I think that the ones that are on the rear would look better slightly bigger as well... see if suoperdave will make you some letters...[8D] JMO
