I just put in an Autometer dual gauge pod. It was a bit of pain to get it to fit properly, though. I think the Speed of Sound look a bit better and are probably a little easier to install.

However, I do seem some advantages in the Autometer pod. They don't block any portion of the windshield and they are much less expensive. I believe the Speed of Sound pods are about $120. I think JEGS charged me about half that for my Autometer Pod.

For the SOSdual gauge pod, autometer cobalt electric fuel pressure and electric boost/vac gauges, it came out to approx. $500.

Don't let not having a supercharger stop you. I installed an Oil Pressure Gauge and an Ambient Temperature gauge and wrote a rather lenghty thread on it.

Both of these gauges were very helpful. Remember, your stock oil pressure gauge is nothing more than a glorified idiot light. Ford needs to stop putting fake oil pressure gauges on Mustangs, especially GT's.

My Autometer Cobalt Short Sweep Oil Pressure Gauge was about $70 or $80. The Cyberdyne gauge was about $65. Pod was about $60. Add in things like wire, pipe, shipping, and other misc. supplies and the cost was in the $250 - $275 range, give or take.

maybe so but they are very functional and can save the motor. Many companies out there making these pods and I think speed of sound looks great! I will get the triple and put aoil pressure gauge, wideband A/F ratio gauge and boost gauge in the future with the whipple install this summer.
