Default You have # miles to E

Pretty neat how it tells you how many miles you have left untill your tank becomes empty. Everybody knows how accurate this thing is?

Discussed many times and it is not the most accurate. I am @ 15 gallons when it says 0, so i have another 15-20 miles left genereally.

I have driven an extra 10miles after it said 0 miles til empty and the gas gauge turned red...
I was desperate that day, I usually dont let my gas go that low

you have 15 gallons left in your tank when its on e[&:]
isnt that how big our tank is?[8D]

oh and i think the reason you have around 15 or so miles left when it is on e is because it is better to have more gas than to have less gas than what the gauge says...sure ford thought of this when making it

oh and ive had it say i had 3 miles till empty...just had the fuel pump replaced and ford didnt put the filler neck in right and it only let me fill up to 1/2 a tank...and i thought it was full[8D]
