Installed some body colored mirror cover w/ pics.
Ordered them from American Muscle. Took all of 5 mins. to install. They do set the car off quite nicely. Tomorrow I will hopefully be installing the chin spoiler.

Very nice...I was thinking about doing that too...did you use your forum discount of 6%? It helps alittle....btw: what year car do you have? I was concerned that my 06 vista blue might not match up to new mirror covers 100%...just curious!!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Those are nice.
There are two things I can't stand about this mustang... The giant reflector nasty headlights. And the black mirrors.
For the other guy, look on Ebay for the fully colored mirror covers. They're expensive but the guys who sell them on Ebay have the color dead-on. Just read their feedback first.

I have been looking at the different mirror covers for the last few weeks and although the ones you have chosen are a nice addition, i've decided to get them professionally painted next week.
Not having the inside trim near the mirror glass would make me crazy each time i looked into them while driving.

It's been covered on these forums how to remedy the "pebbled" plastic when painting the mirrors.
sanding is the key ... bonding agent and primers help keep the paint on long term.
im certain it will not look like the hood but it will be quite smooth.
