See, that's the problem right there.
The front calipers are compressed with a C-clamp or specialty brake clamp tool.
The rear caliper however are not compressed, but screwed like a dial into the caliper.
Just go to your autoparts store and ask for a brake caliper "cube" that screws in the piston.

That's a common misconception unfortunately. Many race teams and production based race cars use cross-drilled rotors.
I use bear eradispeed cross-drilled and slotted rotors and they last me over half a race season. Other racers I know use the non-cross drilled bear rotors and they last 2-3 weekends.
Here's what people don't understand. Yes, you may get more heat fracturing with cross-drilled, which is normal, but when fractures grow into larger cracks, they have less space to travel with cross-drilled because the holes stop them. When cracks reach the edge of the rotor, that's it. Its garbage. And without cross-drilling, the cracks will continue to spread and grow quickly (think of a crack on your windshield) until it reaches the edge of the rotor.
So, while there is a majority of people who believe the meme that cross-drilling is for looks only its mostly based on ignorance.
