Please read water leak possible entry
Ok I have been reading the threads on this has anyone notice a hole underneath wear thecowl drains down it is almost directly under and there are one on each side, could water enter here and go down the rail I don"t know But I fixed mine just in case. Here is some pics I put a plastic cap with silicone in the hole to solve the problem it is in the photo.it may be hard to see but it is there.

Not sure where that pic is from.
But just droped my car off at the dealer to fix this issue. I'm convinced the leak is coming in thru the door wiring harness boot. Not from inside the door. And that means that there is a space between where the door boot attaches to the car and the inside boot under the dash. and when i go thru a puddle the water hits Between the panels from under the car and comes inside. Which would require a weld or seam sealer of some sort.
