Default 2007 gt supercharger

i just recently bought an 07 GT and i want to get a supercharger for it, what should i go with?, i looked at an ATI procharger stage II which will push the hp to about 500, a vortech supercharger that will push it to like 465hp and a roush charger which will push it to like 425hp, the ATI will give me the most power for the cheapest pricebut on the other hand roush, which is more expensive,is a well known mustang performance name, which should i go with and are there any others that i should look into? which will give me the best performance, good price and is a good quality part?

If you mostly drive your car on the street then look at the twin-screw superchargers, Kenne Bell, Saleen, and Whipple. There are numerous threads on this site with more than enough information on all types of superchargers and their benefits and downsides. -Andrew

I chose the Procharger because my car is still my daily driver. It's a centri meaning boost is not instant like the twin-screws. It's irrelevant at the track but if you want instant or low rpm boost, Procharger may not be for you. Also if you're looking for a good street racer, probably 400-420 rwhp is plenty enough. The Procharger makes it boost at the higher rpm range. Mine is rate at 10 lbs. A dynotune on a Mustang Dyno last saturday showed it was producing 14 lbs at 6400 rpm. The Procharger produces so much boost even without pulley swaps, that it can exceed the 39 lb injectors and piggy-back pump system that come with the unit at about 480 rwhp DynoJet or 440ish Mustang Dyno. You then have to go with more efficient fuel delivery system or run lean. Lot's to consider...

I like Saleen's supercharger. I've never heard of someone blowing their engine with a Saleen SC and either Saleen'sconservative (475hp) setup and tune or JDM's more aggressive (450rwhp) package. Also,a couple of recent threads on this topic that are worth a read:
