Traction Contol. Anyway to turn it off?

RE: Traction Contol. Anyway to turn it off?
Almost 40 posts and we still don't know the answer yet.
Does anyone have the answers (not guesses) to these questions:
1. If you turnthe TCSoff through a tuner/scan tool, will it set an error on the dash? What kind of error & where on the dash, exactly?
2. If you get said error, how do you clear it?
3. Does turning the TCS off through a tuner/scan tool correct the very slight delay in throttle response under full throttle?
Not trying to be an ***, just trying to get the correct information before I act on it, know what I mean, Vern?!?

RE: Traction Contol. Anyway to turn it off?
Let me add to the cornfusion.
People here say to "get a tune" to do away with the throttle lag that these cars have from the factory. You can also get added performance by getting higher octane tunes.
So, if you are like me, youcall Brenspeed and ask them for an 87 / 89 / 92 octane tunes. I DID NOT mention anything about the TCS. When my tunes come the throttle lag is gone, and I have my three octane tunes.
So, my question is, IF I had asked them to turn the TCS off, what advantage would this give me if they have already quickened the throttle response way up, yet left the TCS alone?
I have no problem pushing the button on the dash. I have to hit the re-set button across from it anyway as I have new wheels / tires installed and did not want to add the TPMS sensors back so I get the Tire Monitor error in the digital display.

Ouch! I come here to learn and I go away seeing that even the so called experienced argue about stupid crap! C'mon guys this is a legit thread and I hate the TCS when I don't want it. Can't we all just get along?
