What's the difference in the optional 3.31 dif ? What is the performance difference?

yes and its been that way since 1985

3.31 is stock on 5 speeds, 3.55s are a $100 option, not worth it just save the $100 and put in 4.10/4.30s later

3.55's came standard on 05's (and 06's I believe). 07's got the 3.31's standard so the mileage would be better on the highway. Yeah, 07's got bummed with that imho...

I got my 07GT with the 3.55 only because I never plan to upgrade to a 4.11. My car is my daily driver and I plan to make a few long distance trips with it so I want something that is good for the highway too.
