Default This Stripe/Scoop Combo Ok?

Hey everyone ...

I've been kicking around the idea of adding a prepainted Roush scoop to my Tungsten Grey '06 GT 'vert, and I did a mockup of how it will look when it's done. The car currently has silver stripes that will be replaced with the same layout/color, and I wanted to get some feedback on the combo before I commit to drilling the hood. The scoop was just set on the hood for this round of pictures, and hasn't been permanently attached (that will wait until after the stripe replacement).

If I do add the scoop, this is where I'll probably stop at exterior mods. A chin spoiler is out, due to curb and speedbump clearance issues in my area.

Your honest opinion, and any comments on what I could do better, are very much welcomed. I thank you in advance.

Stripes look great, but I don't care for the hood scoop. It does look cool, but it would be non-functional. It looks so much cleaner w/out it in my opinion. But the stripes look great. Love your car!

Thanks for the compliments on the stripes, Iappreciate it. Credit should go to Rob at BSM for that look. He made the stripes... I only put them on the car. :-)

Stripes look nice, i don't like the fitment on the scoop... I think you'd be better off going with the shaker intake, and leave it black... JMO

Drill away... looks great.

I have the same color car. I was going to ditch the scoop and go with the shaker but i found out that the holes that are drilled for the factory scoop, will not be covered by the shaker system. I think i am going to do the same stripes on my 07.

Well..me? I love the whole set up. But I am bias. I have the same scoop as you do diff color). Lot's of opinions, but go with what you fell comfortable everyday sitting behind the wheel. Not that you did not know that anyway.
