RE: Any LED Sequential Tail Lights from Mustang Project?
Hi all,
I currently have this kit on order.....From looking at the website the istall is a little more complicated, but I like the face I can switch it from the chase mode to sequential, or back to stock. Here: http://www.meter4it.com/2005_Mustang.htm is the link to the site and below are a couple videos from their websid demonstrating chase and sequential. My kit should be here in a couple days. My wife got it for my birthday!!

IMHO This is what the Mustangs SHOULD have come with from the factory! We have them onboth of our verts and I think they look great!
(every timeI see a 'stock' tail light Mustang, I think "Why didn't Ford make thecenter lights light up? Hell, they even provided the 3057 bulb to make it illuminate when one hits the blinker or brake! What were they thinkin?"
Oh yea and alomost 2 years and still working GREAT!

I got mine from an ebay site, but they were made from web electronics, they were the kit that you had to splice the correct socket and sequencer in. It took me about 45 minutes, was easier than the instructions made it. Cost me $76.00 with the shipping.

I think I remember hearing the 2005's had a different install than later models.
These instructions don't make too much sense to me... Isn't there anything just plug & play?

I recently installed sequential lights from WebElectric and I'm very happy with them. There is no splicing involved with these, you unplug the original harnesses (which I chose to keep so I could always go back to "stock", but probably never will) and plug thesein just like Perdi described above. The only tool I really needed was a 7/16" deep socket wrench. WebElectric had tons of positive remarks in other threads here on Mustang Forums. I only know of 1 person (and its on another website) that went with the ones you asked about and they said they weren't happy with them because they had a tendency to flicker. I stopped researching them after that because I'd already read so many good things on the WebElectric version.

Good info....[sm=interesting.gif] yes flicker would be a major problem... I will be checking WebElectric... the idea of Plug n Play is just what the Dr ordered....
