Yeah the drive in's close to me are closed. Not sure why, the last year they were open they were packing in the people, lines out to the street. Maybe a good investment since cruises becoming more popular?

There is one in West Chicago John. It's about 30 seconds from my inlaws. We usually go once or twice during the summer.

The Santee Drive-In is still operating...I was hoping that they'd get GrindHouse, but no dice, unless they get it soon.

Right now, I'm thinking middle of June, possibly late June, on a Saturday.

If I paid $1200+ for a cruise then yeah, I could probably afford a drive-in movie at the end. But explain to me why getting off a boat would be more exciting if you then jump in your car and drive to a theatre???

I guess im the kind of person who would rather just go home at that point.
