Thank you very much for trying to help me friend bl1kage. This is a very nice piece but would require filling the holes for the factory spoiler on the car and also body work. I acquired this vehicle as payment for contract work and have grown fond of it but not enough to do that kind of work.

For you all - I have seen the Cervini ducktail and it looks good - no "body work". Cervini is an Italian name also.

Just wanted your expertise regarding the law that I respect - always.

When I got my CDC ducktail I asked if it was legal to cover the third brakelight and they told me that it is legal in all but one state. I think it was Maryland or Massachusetts... not sure which one though. I've had mine for 9 months and never stopped.

It may be legal from amotor vehicle code standpoint... but since they're required by Federal law, it might leave you open to being sued if someone rear ends you. All some lawyer needs to find out, is that you modified your car to cover a mandated safety appliance, and the results won't be too pretty.

You might be right, but I'm not an expert or a lawyer. I just go by what CDC said.

I've got the CDC, too.

Since I also have the web electrics squentials, all 6 of my brake lights come on. If they can't see those - they shouldn't be driving!
